All I can do

A poem

Feel so far from where I want to be. I don’t know how to be~Right here, right now. So many thoughts rolling around. Making these sounds, I can’t figure it out. And I’m walking around on empty steps. Feeling my head. It’s a mess. And I don’t know anymore. Can’t get back to before:

I lie on your bed.

I am sitting on your chair.

But you’re not there

No, You’re not there.

I walk in our woods

I listen to your songs

I think I’ve found the one

But I’m barely reliving what’s gone

I can’t feel

In the same way

—Can’t see your face,

Or hear the words you say.

I don’t know how to feel here without you.

Cuz I’m stuck in a loop

Trying to get back to you

I know there’s no use

But it’s all I can do.
